Wedding DJ's:

We have assembled specialist rigs to cater for the wedding sector. Compact yet extremely powerful these rigs are able to handle the largest of venues whilst remaining unobtrusive and discreet.

We use top quality Mackie sound systems enabling us to play at both ends of the volume spectrum without any compromise to the quality. Our DJ units are self contained and able to squeeze in to the smallest of venues.

Weddings are very much a family affair and although we have the capability of running at high volumes this is rarely the case at weddings. Guest want to talk and dance without having to scream at each other and enjoy what is a very special day. We use our experience to gauge volume levels and make your event a pleasant memorable occasion.

Our music collection is extensive and with over thirty thousand tracks available for your guest to choose from you can be assured there will be something for everyone.

Mobile Discotheque is a family run business with four rigs at our disposal, we do not subcontract bookings and everything is managed in house assuring continuity and guaranteed quality.

We have a standard price for weddings and within that price equipment can be scaled to your requests and requirements so if you are looking for discreet or a full on disco we can help.

So what do we get?

Well a typical package which is more than adequate for around 250 heads, and by “typical package” we mean the rig would not be working anywhere near its limitations both in sound or lighting.

Why Do Weddings Cost More?

We can’t offer an explanation why other companies charge more but here are the reasons why our wedding package is more expensive than a standard booking.

You never get a second chance to get it right……

• We carry more reserve equipment for weddings
• We carry give-away’s to occupy the younger children during the early parts of the evening
• There is more consultation with the client or wedding coordinator to make sure that the evening runs seamlessly
• Playlists require more work because of personal requests
• Generally there is a site visit
• They are quite often longer than a standard event as either background music is required or PA is needed for speeches
• A higher standard of dress code is required
• You quite often need to install equipment earlier in the day as it would be impractical or unprofessional to do it immediately prior to the event

We only add additional costs incurred to our standard package and these costs are calculated on a pro rata hourly basis.
